Opening of Information and business center of St. Petersburg in Milan

Information and Business Center of St. Petersburg was opened on Tuesday, September 18, 2018, in Milan. Business session dedicated to this event, was held in the Milan Chamber of Commerce and Industry.
On behalf of the mayoralty of Milan, representatives of the official delegation of Saint-
Petersburg welcomed Robert Guarnieri, assessor for tourism, sports and quality of life. Representatives of the official delegation of the administration of St. Petersburg, business communities of Milan and St.-Petersburg.
The initiative of opening the Center belongs to the Russian megapolis and is aimed at strengthening business ties with the economic capital Italy in a number of directions. This is the beginning of work on the creation of joint Italian-Petersburg businesses, opening from different angles business, investment potential of the city.
At the opening three topical issues for business development were presented projects. These are opportunities for cooperation in the transport sector with a view to development of tourism, cooperation in the field of culture and prospects in the field of Fashion industry. As an already held successful case of mutually beneficial Italian company MOBY was represented, which successfully operates in St. Petersburg and is one of the leaders of ferry transportation.
At the event, representatives of the art spaces of St. Petersburg talked about their numerous projects and ideas that could used to develop partnerships. In the field of fashion, fruitful cooperation and exchange of experience helps to realize the ambitious goal that St. Petersburg has set itself - to become the fashionable capital of Russia.
In addition, the center's tasks include market analysis and monitoring. The specialists of the Center follow the trends, in order to precede the advantageous proposals for cooperation.
Information and Business Center of St. Petersburg closely cooperates with Russian and Italian official institutions: the City Hall of Milan, the administration of St. Petersburg, the General Consulate of Russia in Milan, The Chamber of Commerce of Milan and the Italian-Russian Chamber of Commerce, the Confederation Lombardy and other interested parties.
