During this tour, you will be able to immerse yourself in the history of the city, evaluate the original ideas of its founder and enjoy the stunning views of St. Petersburg from the waters of its rivers and canals.
As a part of a sightseeing bus tour, you will pass through the historic center of the city on the Neva River, enjoying the view of all its main attractions. You will drive along the lively Nevsky Prospect, the main artery of the city, pass Vasilyevsky Island, which Peter the Great wanted to turn into a strict network of canals, and along the Petrograd side. You’ll be invited to take pictures in front the Spilled Blood Cathedral, the true masterpiece of Russian architecture, and at the Spit of Vasilyevsky Island that opens an unforgettable view of the water area of the Neva.
The program will continue with an exciting hour-long boat ride along the rivers and canals of Venice of the North. Peter the Great planned that the residents of the new capital would arrive in the city and travel across it by water, so he did his best for the magnificent embankments of the city to represent the city in all its glory.
